Thier first year registration is $5.99. Does anyone know how much would be their renewal? Also, anyone have experienced this registrar before? Are they any good? Thanks in advance
Renewal price is the same as the first year registration. There isn't any discount or anything. I have some domain name with them. Initially, their website goes down a couple of times but seems more stable now. But when it went down, it did not affect the DNS Service anyways. I find that their interface a little harder to use when I want to create Name servers but if your needs are standard then they are a good value.
If it's more expensive to renew, you could always transfer the domain to a cheaper registrar and take advantage of their discount prices.
Sir, renewal requires more than the first year registration offers already going on. As of now,for .com/net/org/info,it costs $7.99/yr for renewal, which is quite better. Also their prices are comparatively most competitive for some other extensions.
Yeah good price, and renewal is $7.99 - which is still great as until I switched I was paying £12 ($24) per US .TLD. I've only been with them a week - their' site does time out quite regularly but it doesn't affect domain stability.
Yeah $7.99 is still good price. Thats still cheaper than most registrar. I registered a domain from them already. Tried the control panel and it simple and it does the job very well! Thats all I want for now. The only 2 things I didn't like are, their site is slow on secured connection. Agree with the last poster, the site time outs regularly. Secondly, I already payed for a domain but when I looked at my shopping cart, the domain was still there. If you are buying another domain and you didn't notice it, that could cause you to pay twice for the same domain. I haven't tried their custumer service yet, I hope they are reliable. I'll stick with this registrar for a while. See how good their service are. I just hope they fix their sites slowness and the bugs. Thanks for the replies btw! Those have been very helpful posts!
