okay. Curious why we have to save them...why not europes military...oh yeah,...dont' you find it a bit odd how people do and don't want us to be a world police? Truth is, Rwanda could have been lessened had the UN not forbidden the use of private armies as they did in Sierra Leone (by literally pushing the successful peacemakers out). They were ready to go, but the UN does it's best make itself look good....but anyone with eyes knows they're morons. As far as America going in, well...ask Clinton, I'm not sure why we didn't. As far it goes currently in the Sudans, ask Bush. Would it be brutal for me to say that most americans don't care ENOUGH to send troops there? Actually, I think our government shouldn't be using it's military unless it involve trade partners or defense (pending the circumstance). Although I do think we reserve special cases on dictators and people of their same ilk. Although the reasoning on how and why it's done ought to be a bit more refined than this PR debacle ie Iraq. I believe private armies (purely for protection) ought to be allowed to exist in unstable areas...they do things ten times cheaper and better than UN beaucrats.
