Have you been talking to GTech? ;)

This was in 2003....the same time we decided to invade and occupy Iraq. Good call, eh?!

About the same time terrorists from neighboring countries decided to occupy Iraq? I guess it depends on which "we" you are referring to ;)

It must have been the "terrorists from neighboring countries" that challenged the reasoning skills. Says a lot about how you think of the military too.

My bad, I forget how "thenthitive" some are to such embolding words. um "freedom fighters." Yes, "freedom fighters that came forth from neighboring countries" bearing spices, incense and freshly picked flowers.

    All better now, Rob?

Now knowing that an official said that, it does change my opinion, yes. When new (to me) information becomes available, things can change. While I still don't believe North Korea is going to be attacking the united states any time soon, that is cause for concern. So yes, being all over N. Korea about missiles isn't as unreasonable as I had previously stated - however, unless we're planning on actually doing something about it, I still don't see the need to be constantly bothering with them with public statements.

What are we supposed to do? Go pick up their missiles and hand them back over? "I'm sorry, I think ya'll dropped these in that there big spit cup. Ya'll come back now ya hear?"

Btw, what do you have against diplomacy? Because last time I checked, Bush was being very deliberate about pointing out that that is our stance on North Korea---work it out diplomatically.

Mainly because we don't have a choice.

    A) They can actually fight back! They even have a military!!
    B) We are in the middle of a 'war' which has no end in sight.

 I guess I got confused because you made it seem like the terrorists were there first (and then we went in to save the day). :D

I'm sorry. Sometimes I have trouble following the "GTech" accounts of recent events.

You would be surprised at how many people swear on their mother's grave that zarqawi wasn't in Iraq prior to the war, or how many people think there was no link between al qaida and saddam. I can only imagine it's BDS, but glad to see you don't suffer from it :p

The only way for a North Corean to use a computer is by going to a webcafé in the city center. Personal Computers is strictly forbidden.

You guys we can argue about this all day long but it all boils down to one point. Should the US be allowed to oversee everyone else just becuase they can? As you may know the US occupies a LOT of countries there are a few acountries out there with a US influence. And each time another country or allience get's close to challenging it's power it panicks. Take China for example it's industry is rising fast as well as it's military power. Now if the US had an influence over it this wouldn't be a problem but it doesn't . Now China is seen as the only power that MAY be able to hold it's own against a US attack. It depends on the morals of Americans whether we want to bring World peace as it appears our government is doing or just bring peace to those countries we can use. Iraq is a prime example. It went in after "weapons of mass destructions" Just think about what that phrase means and tell me if it doesn't make you laugh. Anyone ever heard of those before the whole Iraq thing, if they did indeed have those they would have probably told the US off like Iran did. I mean if you have the power to "mass destruct" why not use it if you are attacked. I bet you Sadam was laughing his ass off when he heard about those weapons. Which may I point out we haven't found. And also point out that now major US companies control most of th Iraq industrial business. But when it comes to the places it counts like Rwanda if anyone remember where a genocide was happening with "proof" the US did nothing because they knew there was nothing in for them. Same thing is Sudan is happening right now. So what's stopping the so-called "self-righteous US from acting like the big brother it projects itself as? Maybe because there isn't "sufficent" interest.

The point is the governement has it's own agenda the US citizens just need to realize what it and DO something about it. Instead of sitting at home watching TV. If we were to protest the government will hear us, becuase then they would realize that we actually know. And since we are the ones that vote we still hold power over them.

Mind you my opinion isn't meant to insult anyone in any way this is just what I think.

    Thank You
