N/A On Keyword Tracker

Discussion in 'Keyword Tracker' started by EmeiSTL, Sep 16, 2005.

I have the N/A problem with Google.
Actually I have it with all three search engine: Google, MSN and Yahoo.
And this is strange because I should be in the first and second position on the first two.
It's not a problem of overhead (I use only 4 keywords and I've tried many times at different hours) or mispelled domain name (as for FAQ #17).
You can check trying the keyword "Emei" on Google and Yahoo.

    Can anyone help me?

What's the URL (exactly as entered) in the keyword tracker?

Not in reference to Emei's issue precisely, but does it make a difference to the Keyword ranking engine, if one enters
    http://www.i-fur.com/
    or
    www.i-fur.com/
    or
    i-fur.com

I tend to enter the urls in exactly the same way I submit them to the search engines, which in my case is always the first two above.

    I've tried with:
http://www.emei-siutinlung.it/ (abandoned after reading FAQ #17)
    www.emei-siutinlung.it (used now)
www.emei-siutinlung.it/ (tried to match Google result even with the / )

The result is the same... N/A.
I wonder if it's a problem of configuration or what else. :(

When I added it to the KW tracker it registers it as #7. Do you have any country or language restrictions set under your account preferences?

    Yes...
Language and country: italian and Italy.
Anyway backlinks seem correct and Page Rank too.

I was reading past forum topics and I found that the case of "All N/A's suddenly" is quite similar to me. So I'd like to ask how is possible to "look up one manually". I can try to do it.

Try removing the restrictions and see what happens (it comes up as #7 for me without any restrictions).

I removed country and language restriction (first one, then the other then both of them) and all remained the same: N/A for all three search engine.
I tried to "launch" the php script necessary for MSN and Yahoo and obtained:
    a:1:{s:7:"results";s:4:"9999";}
(I have no idea of what does it mean  )
Till now (this is the fifth day) this Keyword Tracker was completely useless to me.
    I'm lucky it's free.

The only thing I can think of is just data center flux since it comes up fine for me in the KW tracker without any restrictions.

This is happening to me too. All N/A, and I'm #1 for many of my KWs if I search manually. It's been happening for a week. I tried moving the PHP script to a different server, it's still happening. If I check just one, I get:

    a:1:{s:7:"results";s:1:"1";}

    ???

Yep me to! In the past few weeks to month not only are many of my keywords not showing up that do have rankings, but the dates of my keywords are often not updating either!

I even removed almost 200 keywords so that there would be less in the query to search from with no difference.

The tool seems to be losing its effectiveness, which is sad as it used to be so excellent!

I can't either. If I click each keyword manually, I will get some result changes, although not 100% accurate. There are simply too many keywords for me to do this all the time though. What I do get is mainly with yahoo and msn. With google searches, I get n/a, even when I know the keywords are showing up.

Will need to talk to the administrator of the server where your advanced usage script is.

Well, I think I am having a similar problem. I am seeing rankings in the KWT that I cannot replicate in a manual query on G. Y seems to have similar problems, but that looks like everflux. The G results might show something at say #6 that I cannot find at all. I have no prefs setup in my KWT account or on my G manual search. Maybe G is simply bouncing certain results more these days since they are tracking the clicks on the SERPs?
