Myth or Not?

    Somewhere I've heard, that you will rank better IF you will have only 10 high quality links and not many very low quality links (useless).

    I've got some extreme trusted sites links (currently right after very big gues in the serps.) and wondering if I should take the opportunity to get ~500 low quality links (not spam, just like "Design by whatever") or so?

    You should try to get more links. Yes better quality links do help more but you still need more links than 10.

    A few good keyword anchor link, contextual and related to your site, from high PR sites is better than lots of low quality backlinks!!:)

    Yes, I know that. Quality but not quantity, as I already got quality, now wondering if I should stop or get those 500 lq too :) Will get them and see what happens.

    If you can, vary your anchor text and the page linked to. You want the links to look as natural as possible.
