Mystery $1.00 Adwords Charge to Debit Card

    I looked over my banking history today and noticed this charge that is pending from Google:
    "ard purchase authorization GOOGLE *ADWORDS SOURCE: AUTOA"

    What could be happening here? I looked over all my Adwords accounts and none of my campaigns are active.

    This may be just an authorization verification from adwords billing system if your credit card is still valid.

    Have you checked this on online Internet banking system? The $1.00 probably will disappear and you will not be billed for it.

    The charge is now gone, that's good. No money was taken from my debit card.

    I think they where just proving the card was legit, not credit card fruad.
