A client of mine wants a website. I'm gonna base it on PHP and MySQL, but have just found out that his hosting dosen't support MySQL databases

I however, have a load of databases waiting to be used in my hosting cpanel. Is their a way I can link a file from his hosting space, to my database?

If this dosen't work, is there a way I can add MySQL to his hosting without upgrading/paying?

Here is the hosting package my client is using:

If you have a dedicated server or VPS it's quite easy to to do.

Just have MySQL listen on a TCP/IP port.

Point Client's PHP at your server and you're done.

Personally I would just recommend buying a better hosting account. :)

Buy a better hosting account that has got MySQL. Otherwise something will change one day and it will all stop working and you'll spend ages working out why.
