I have recently upgraded MYSQL from 4.1.22-standard to 5.0.45.

Php.ini reflects this change however status2k script and also the phpmyadmin shows the old 4.1.22-standard version.

Can anyone shed any light on what to do to update these applications?

Is it running the new 5.0.45 or a mix of them both?

Did you upgrade all the parts of MySQL such as server, client and shared-compat?

this has fixed itself. As a first pointer to people looking to upgrade softwares on the server... Always check WHM tools first before SSH
