    Hi,

    We got this message from our forum site:

    Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
    File: /home/account/public_html/oursubdomain/Sources/Load.php
    Line: 2008

    The forum is gone. What could be the problem? How to fix this?

    We are running an SMF site with nearly 200,000 posts.

    hello

    if you have ssh access in server
    type nano /etc/my.cnf

    add this line
    connect_timeout = 30

    under [mysqld] well choose the value to use

    Best

    what is your host saying?
    it just doesn't disappear like that unless there is an issue with your host.

    The host will be saying it is everyone's issues except their own server problem. And sometimes miraculously, your problem disappear and your host will also claim they didn't do anything :)
