It is not indexed. The database consists of 110 million records in one table. It also has 25 columns. The database is 12GB in size. I also have my own dedicated server with 4GB RAM, â—¦Intel Xeon 3470 (Quad Core) processor. What I Need I need someone who can assist me in making search results as fast as possible - without deleting any records. I will also obviously need a proper script to search the database and display results. Please send me a PM with the following info: 1. How fast can you make the system provide a result when it is searched? 2. Can 100 - 200 people search the system simultaneously? 3. How long will it take you to complete the job? 4. How much will you charge me?
1. Totally depends of the queries your app does. When a developer designs a database, he (should) always takes care of doing it optimally for speed, having knowledge of how the app will query for data. I.e. your database is not something you can optimize WITHOUT consideration of the application that uses it. Good luck.
