MySql Database Problem

    Hello
    i just bought a database from a friend
    it's a Vbulletin Database
    i uploaded it via phpmyadmin
    and it said upload complete
    when i am trying to attach it to the forum
    it says database error
    any help please ?

    do you have config.php set up properly? what do you mean 'attach it to the forum' ?

    If you give more details you will get more replies.

    Have you checked that the database is populated ?
    Have you checked that you have a config.php file with the correct details.
    Have you changed the config.newphp file to just config.php ?
