Would the domain name myspacehereafter . com constitute a trademark infringement?

The more important question, as usual, is why you registered it.

If you receive an email or letter from MySpace, you have your answer.

How will you be using the domain? If it is anything related to Myspace then it would definitely constitute a trademark infringement.

The same goes if you only park the domain and don't actually develop it into a site yourself. This could be then used to show a "bad faith" registration trying to profit from the Myspace trademark.

    Thanks everyone for the input.

Crusader; the idea for this project is to use the domain to host free obituary-type pages, where users can create lasting memorial pages for their loved ones. I have other domain names that I can use for the project, but this one seems pretty catchy, but to your point, since the idea for the project is like "MySpace for the Deceased", I have a bad feeling about using it but felt it was worth the $6 investment to reg anyway :)

Send Tom a message and ask if it would be okay with him. I'd ask for you, but I deleted him from my friend list.

I've had the domain myspacesquad.com for close to a year now and no emails from myspace so far so I think it's safe.. but IF they ever do email me, good bye to my site =/

And why answer if you don't think so but really wouldn't know? Hmm?

That is likely to attract MySpace's attention.
