Is myspace worth getting an account with for selling web site builders for building links and or just making money from the traffic?
i created a myspace account for an ecommerce site for my clothing label, and if you target the right niches you can make a fair few sales. I'm doing pretty well... teenagers love to spend money on clothes and don't really have any fears about buying online. I'm not sure how it would go if your counting the traffic to come through and click on ads tho
If you get enough people on your site, I'm sure you could sell ads. I've seen it done before. Also, if you know how, you can sell mass comments. You have buyers tell you the comment they want posted on a mass scale, and they will pay a decent amount. But advertising for your site, sure you can get people to stop by, just get tons of friends so you know people will be actually looking at your site. Then you can easily gain some traffic.
at the start i began to question that when i was spending a lot of time for little sales, but once you acquire enough friends it just starts to become self sufficient and people ask you for friend requests instead of the other way around... and the sales just start to consistently flow in
I have found my MySpace blog to be a great way to build quality backlinks that get picked up very quickly.
