Is there any worthwhile way to generate traffic to myspace site that does not involve shady fly by nite web-sites and other things that could get my account deleted? I have a reasonably popular music site on myspace but I would to generate more traffic so that I can generate more online music sales at stores like iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and etc...I am already on all of them and need to learn effective ways of doing this before I release another major music project this Fall. Thanks in advance for any replies.
I really don't know of anyways of myspace traffic...did you try posting in their forums and stuff? I think they have communities with different interests, maybe you could start there. good luck!
In the past many people were into it and now its died off and the people that use to do it now don't. It still works for some people but I don't see it going anywhere.
There are many ways to generate traffic to any kind of pages or site. 1 LinkReferral.com (See complete review) 2 StumbleUpon (Just stumble you site or profile, you will get quality visitors if your content is really useful [Most recommended]) 3 Digg it [Most recommended] 4 Entrecard.com (See review) 5 Use your site url in signature of forums 6 Blog about it.
We can help you market your myspace music site, check out the site in my sig. We have never had a myspace account deleted.
Instead of trying to sell to members, share info and helpful tips, as if they are your friends. Get word of mouth going, while making your friend network bigger. That's the two keys to being more successful on such a site. But, keep track of the time you put into it. You don't want to work more hours and get paid less than a minimum-paid worker. Personally, if you are going to post there for the sole purpose of trying to make money instead of it being just a fun hobby, I wouldn't recommend it. The hours put in versus what you will get back will, in all likelihood, be less than $1 an hour.
