Hmm… I’m not a fan of myspace, but they do post warnings everywhere, so they can’t really be blamed, the two could’ve met anywhere!

I thinks MySpace is not liable in any way. There are a lot of other ways a teen ager may meet with adult sexual predators. May be at park, bus-stop, over telephone, online chat and so on. So, MySpace should not be accused.

thats just some family trying to make some money out of myspace. fair doos she was assulted, and feels upset, but myspace go out of their way to protect the young, its unfair saying that they dont.
14 year olds should stop photographing themselfs in bras and pants, its just not cool.

myspace is not responsible, its the 19 year old twat that sexually assulted her! how is myspace responsible for what people do in their private life?

It's the girl's fault, didn't follow terms and conditions - got in trouble. Case dismissed.

No shit ... Dr. Phil had a show on about this before where the mother came on as "sweet kitten" or somethhing and talked to her two sons, one of which wanted to hook up with her (he was 16 or 17) and gave up his phone number, the other gave out a friends phone number who in turn gave his phone number.

People are just plain ole stupid now adays.

The guy that supposedly assaulted the girl is suing MySpace as well. My bet is the 2 trumped up this scam to try to get some moolah.

Ya that's really stupid, I don't think myspace is responsible for this, as Matture said they could have very well meet somewhere else. Well if the girl was feeling assaulted she could have well blocked the user (@ 14 you surely have some brain!).
