Myspace has become a huge thing these days and has bee n very useful to site owners and businesses. I have been able to come up ith verious ways to advertise such as :
    *Bulletin posts
    *Banner Posts on mass bulletins
    *Ad spots on account
*Spots on other codes that go out to the masses

bulletins usually are the cheapest and sucess depends on how well you prepare your bulletin. Remember, like anything if people dont like what they initially see then they will not go .. I have 35,000 friends and i have many friends with much more. I also have accounts if thats something you would be interested in. If you have an account to mysapce already then i have some easy ways to get friends. One of which is a script that gets you friends without you being near the computer. talk to me soon and ill tell you more about my advertising options.

Ever tried redirecting peoples profiles to your add me link? Or to your own sites even. Or adding a popup to your own profile popping your website using cpm works well also. If your using the auto train joiners on a lot of profiles each profile should get easiliy over 10,000 views a day so is a bit extra in ad revenue.

You can redirect or trigger popups with flash no javascript needed. Make a quick swf file which will redirect or popup whatever link, upload it somewhere call the file with embed and thats it. Send it in messages, bulletins, comment and leave the code on other peoples profile, you need to use css to disguise the embed tag when commenting peoples profile though, otherwise they need to approve any comment with embed.

Do some searching for css cheat sheets. It doesnt hide the embed, the embed tag is still there but using the css in that way it bypasses myspaces filter.

You know, I'm all for using Myspace to market effectively. I'm a marketing / PR professional and I work with a lot of musicians, so it works well for me. But from a 'real' marketing perspective, posting bulletins to tens of thousands of people is essentially useless. No marketing is worth the time or money if you don't properly target your audience. Hoping that random people see the bulletin (and those with tons of 'friends' like that might actually only come across 1% of their bulletins anyway) is a waste of time and money. Spend it on targeted advertising and building effective link campaigns with related sites who are already reaching the audience you want to appeal to.

Im srry you feel this way but truth is you probably dont know how to use your mysapce properly.. i always find it funny to see professionals try to get into myspace... they cant do it and then complain about it later... YOU WILL NOT AND CAN NOT BE SUCESSFULL ON MYSAPCE IF YOU DONT KNOW PEOPLE... you can buy an account but if you cant have friends helping u then you will have a rough time... i know over 100 myspace whores.. friend ranges from 20k-100k this is why i can get things done... im sure jenn is good at her job.. but she isnt thinking of the simple mindedness of us teens on myspace... and once u realize this then you can take advantage of it
