    Honestly there is nothing funny going on here - check IPs or whatever. It is odd but mate, stranger things have happened, I can understand you coming to this unfortunate conclusion though, if i was going to do something like that i wouldnt be dumb enough to make it that obvious - I've been on dp long enough to know that you just cant scam people.

    I wanted the site and still do but there is a BLACK Cloud over this sale now.

    Some new guy outta nowhere starts bidding over 2k for a site....Uncommon

    Some new guy just happens to join the same day this thread is made....VERY Uncommon.

    Seems to me someone is jacking the price up. Not saying it is you BUT makes a person wonder and for that reason I wont bid anymore.

    If new guy wins this site I hope you get paid.

    PGZ, just because we're new doesn't mean we're a risk of not paying. Just use paypal or escrow and everyone's covered. I just paid a member on this forum $2,500 on friday, check my posts. My money's good, just wish I could get off 'Peon' status. :(

    I get exactly what you mean mate, it does indeed happen, I have exposed a couple of scammers myself here on dp. But that's just not the case here.

    I take back what I just said, The paypal payment was cancelled and I have been left with a massive debt and fraud investigation - apparently paypal contacted the buyer to try to resolve some issues but they have yet to respond. i really dont need this a few days before starting uni.
    I guess I will have to get the site back and resell - unless this guy resolves things very quickly.
