Is there any money to be made in these sites? Im just wondering becuase ive been offered one of these by a friend for cheap and would like to know if theres any money to be made from them and how? Thanks.
i guess if it has a good PR and good backlinks with a lot of traffic, you can make money by selling links and ad space
For selling links you must have good pr and traffic but you can always earn money from adsense. Just post bulletins in myspace.com and you can earn some good $$ from it
Just a question, but does myspace ever upgrade the script? as in, those 10,000 templates you have on a site are going to be incompatible or missing functions? That would worry me. edit: i should add, i never have used myspace, i think i went there once or twice though.
You need tons of traffic to make good money off those sites. And it's pretty hard to rank for any of the major related keywords because the market is so saturated. So far, no. And I doubt they will in the foreseeable future, because they know everyone and their mom uses custom layouts, so they wouldn't risk breaking 400 kagillion profile pages.
