With that many visitors you have a 0 alexa ranking?

I dunno man.. Even a good 100 visitors a day even if they aren't SEOs will generally give you at least a 5million ranking cause ONE person is going to have it installed

But for your customer to comment here in this thread about something unrelated to this thread throws up MAJOR RED FLAGS in reference to your customer service.

Just sorta reminds me of earlier days when I too had trouble with you and you ignored my PMs also.

nope, between my arcade site and 2 myspace resource sites on my cheap p4 server, it has rendered the server pretty much useless, looking for a quick sale so I can upgrade my server.

Are there any SE referrals at this point? Can you put up extreme tracking for a couple of days as this would sure help us to see the referral stats. Those webalizer stats don't really work so well as it shows every page from your site as a referral, and i'd actually like to see referrals from where they came from to get to your site.

 

eljef, not familiar with extreme tracking, but i can tell you over 90% of the traffic comes from profiles when people use a layout and when people use the comments glitter etc. I do have statcounter setup on it and its not showing anything from search engines. SE traffic will come as the site becomes more established but myspace links will always be the number one source of traffic, just like every other resource site.

 

He basically ripped off all the content from mypimpspace.com and the new owner may eventually get his/her YPN/Adsense closed for 'duplicate' or 'non-unique' content (as YPN puts it)

Really? If that's true then ack. This forum has really hit the bottom of the barrel lately with all these shady trades.

Visit mypimpspace.com, the site is practically copied word for word. The icons on the homepage are copied. I've seen so many sites that just rip those icons and rip terry's site (mypimpspace)

lol Tom, that is the most untrue thing I have ever read. Greg-J (a very reputable seller on DP) sells a myspace resource script and they all look the same, does that mean every script he sells will eventually be banned by ad networks? This is the only thing I HATE about DP, too many people posting utter nonsense when they indeed do NOT know what they are talking about. wow...the internet would turn to @^#& if all the out-of-the-box scripts arent changed immediatley...give me a break what a joke.

mypimpspace is using the same script as are many MANY other sites. Bottom line is you are paying for the domain as it is established and getting good traffic. If the design is what you're going for, the site is very easily customizable. In fact I know several good designers if the buyer would like to change the look and feel of the site. If you're like me, the site can look like a piece of crap...but if its making $xxx/month....do you really care? Ide rather a productive site than one that just looks nice.

 

The bottom line is it's still a cookie cutter site.

My apologies for doing this to your thread... but I just wanted to forewarn about the duplicate content issue and YPN not being forgiving for "non-unique" content.

 

Tom, this is a "script" not a "cookie cutter website". A cookie cutter website is a website based on a poorly coded PSD template. It got this name because when a site is created off a PSD, the PSD is "sliced" and photoshop generated the html for you, so what you have is just a cut up graphic with some text on top in the middle of the page.

This is a script...a script that is used by MANY myspace resource sites YES but you find me one myspace resource site that doesnt use images that other resource sites use and Ill call you the man.

And you will NOT get banned by YPN or any ad publishing networks for having this sort of site, so you shouldnt say things as such without providing some sort of proof. What I do urge EVERY interested party is that if they are in FACT cautious about this, they should call YPN or google and ask them themself. There is a right and wrong way of going about things, you are potentially hurting my sale by stating your OPINION not a fact.
