Hi, Is marketing thru myspace really worth.can i get targeted visitors. Also why there all sexy pictures in myspace when i browse.I sometime feel like iam in an adult only website.
You can get targeted visitors if you request friends with the specifications that you are looking for and if use the right tactics of advertising to them on Myspace in a way in that they'll be interested. Sex sells and produces a lot of attention to that profile which turns into profile views and friend requests.
Yes, Myspace marketing is still effective. As hav0c said, sex sells, profiles with attractive but believable girls do best (well, depends on your niche). If you're new I have an ebook for sale (see sig)
Myspace is really a pain for us as web marketers. The problem is myspace acts up and you cannot view a myspace page sometimes unless you have a login and password.
OK I give a try.i do know how to start. Is there any guide in this forum for myspace.i cant spend money now.so i prefer anyone offer for free.
Myspace has an extremly low conversion ratio. I would say look else where if you are trying to "sell stuff".
Blogging using the MySpace blog system is also a very good way to get traffic to your site. I usually will post something in a diary or casual way and have a link to my site. I then will send out a bulletin to tell people I’ve updated my blog. Don’t neglect MySpace in your marketing campaign as it has wonderful opportunities to help people get to learn about your website, service and business. Another feature I like is the commenting aspect. You can leave a comment on your friend’s profiles that everyone who goes to their page will see. It can be worth it to make or buy a pretty banner so that you can include that within your comment. I always study someone’s page before I make a banner so I can customize my remark to their personality. It takes more time but again it helps to build the relationship. If I see that the person likes a certain book I like or hobby I will mention that in my comment and then put a link to my site using a banner or a text link.
I just started to use MySpace to promote and I've been getting a few visitors. Not as much as I'd hope though.
Starting and joining Myspace groups will work a bit with marketing as well as having the right friends. As for the adult content, it's not exactly allowed without disclosures. I can't remember, but I thought there was a place to report that sort of activity.
@ken It will take some time and work before you get enough friends for any significant amount of traffic, it will come eventually though.
