Myspace Marketing Ideas?

Discussion in 'Social Networks' started by Drover, Oct 24, 2006.

Is there a good Myspace marketing resource out there? There seem to be a lot of tools (bulletins, groups, etc.) And consensus on what's best? Any systematic way to use several together?

I know this is a n00b post. Idid look through some old threads, and there are a lot of good ideas. They're just so scattered.

    Thanks.

edit: I'm trying to drive traffic to a blog.

There are so many bulletins going out these days, I think many have blinders on for them. Contently adding friends to the list seems to keep traffic up. Getting some serps for the niche will also help/

Drover, Is this a Myspace Blog? if not why not use the free myspace blog to drive traffice to your other blog :)

One way to get traffic to your Myspace blog is to make a few post's then set up multiple accounts, this is a method many are using to build their friends lists quicker by using throw away accounts and chaining them together to send more requests out. Using programs like Badder Adder.

If you lose the odd account using these methods it won't matter becuase you will have more accounts in reserve.

I am considering writing a script that makes accounts over and over and sends out, sends out a specified number of friends requests, posts a bulletin, posts a specified number of comments, and then restarting.

The script would run 24/7, but I don't think it would generate as much traffic as I want it to unfortunately...

If you really want to use MySpace effectively, take the time to target a specific niche.

Build a nice profile that looks real and focus on adding only groups/friends who are interested in whatever niche you are trying to market.
