MySpace Marketing - A question of ethics

    Recently MySpace has been cracking down and tightening security because of exxcessive spammin(greed).

    We lost Flash functionality and now we will probably lose control over div tags.

    This not only hurts legitimate marketers but the entire community.

    I came across this site that is floating a transparent gif to cover most of a users page with a div tag.

    If enough ethical resource sites complain (to MySpace and Adsense - i assume Google would frown on such lack of ethics)maybe we can nip this one in the bud.

    That really sucks, but I'm wondering how much Myspace would cooperate. I've heard its against their policy to promote any other site on a myspace page (which contradicts the point of having the specialty music and film pages) but they might just take it like black and white, without the "gray" marketing...
