Whoa it looks like it lol... "Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred. This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group."
I get this now: Server Error in '/' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration> Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web> </configuration>
bummer, i was expecting me all time high today but it doesn't seem likely anymore. When do you guys expect this issue to be resolved?
yup, myspace changed a sever last night, and its been jacked up since then at least thats what the message that my adder said
I am seeing serious revenue + traffic decreases. I was too pre-pairing for a record day. Also, unfortunetly I had some issues with my servers earlier in the day due to a power outage as well.
I had an issue with one of my dedicated servers earlier... I don't know if it was related to the power outages that Myspaces is suffering from, but it's possible. I believe that Myspaces profile servers are now hosted in Arizona. Their server farm is also smaller after switching to ASP.NET 2.0. They also have a fewer number of cacheing servers and such. Hopefully they will be back soon.
Before this issue happened they post an advisory that they will be down ( I can't remember what they told there.) but I think they are changing server.
Ah ok, well I was on at around 8pm central time and there were no messages. Still a site like Mypace should not be down. If Google was switching servers they would not be down. They would load balance etc... to stay up.
no lie. and everytime they "upgrade" it takes like 2-3 days to iron everything out and get back to normal.
Yes!!! I wanted to find that one but hmmmm....I saw it on myspace! Next time I'll DL to my photobucket I guess Fox can fork over $580M to Tom & Co. but when the lights flicker MySpace is in the shidder.
