MySpace crack up or crack down?

I started a new account 4 days ago and on day 1 sent out my 500 daily requests with adder robot with no problems. On day 2, sent them again but later found the requests from day 2 were not in my pending and it's been 3 days now and any request I send does not go to pending. I can still receive and accept requests and the account is not banned.

Is MySpace cracking down on something or are they just cracking up?

Cracking down... you're lucky your account wasn't killed altogether.

What are they cracking down on?

The request limit is/was 500 per day, unless it's the bot, if so, oh well. Not being able to send requests basically kills the account anyways.

I had an account and never went over the 300 a day mark, I just used it to promote one of my sites and targeted only people that would be interested (in my opinon), I got banned quite quickly, I have given up on myspace becuase of that.

I have not sent out a single message or bulletin, so either they dropped the limit, maybe on new accounts, or they are cracking down on bots.

I do believe the new limit for new accounts is 50 adds. They see us "smart" users with so many friends and hinder us for there ad profits.

I just read Nintendos thread and that seems to explain it. Just wondering if the ban is temp. or permanant.

Based on my tests, 425 a day (Per 24 hours.) is now the max (I suggest not going over 400 to be more safe.). The quote in the first post there says it's permanant...unless you pay enough advertising with them to get a rep...$7,000 or more!!!

That's exactly what happened to all 10 of my accounts that caused me to hunt around and find that post...and then do the friend request tests on my own.
