    Hi there,

I want to know that myspace.com traffic that comes after posting comments and URL on friend's profiles and leaving messages at the bulletin boards is allowed for the websites with Adsense?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards

I dont really think its bad to have traffic from AdSense but what i heard was that traffic from myspace has very less monetary value specially in terms of per click rate...

I used to get most of my traffic from a profile that i custom made for my directory, but in the end realising that it was not of much use, let it go... now that my directory is well optimized and is in Google for most of the good search terms, all my traffic comes from google giving me good(not that good but better) click through rate...

p.s: i earn nearly half a dollar by average from AdSense from my site:)

Posting your URL on a few of your friends pages or in some forums is fine.. Mass-posting on hundreds of thousands would (rightfully) be considered spam, and might get you into trouble with Adsense and Tom..

As far as I know, Tom's not part of Myspace anymore, only his pic as everybody's "friend", until they boot him off their list

I meant that figuratively, as "Tom" is the name given to the faceless Myspace entity (including their legal dept.)..

I would ONLY post on people you know, are not going to report you.

The ship has long sailed for spamming myspace, and if you do get reported, you will get yourself into some legal troubles for sure.
