myspace.com marketing?

Do you think myspace.com is going to continue to be popular and that it will attract more people, or is it going on it's way out?

 

It's grown to over 75 million users, I doubt it will be leaving us anytime soon. I've been doing a lot of marketing for my sites through my own myspace and it works quite well. drives some good traffic

 

Drives a lot of traffic but depends on what you are trying to sell. Traffic isn't good if its something that no one wants.

 

orkut.com is picking up and will challenge myspace.com in near future. Its very famous in brazil.

 

orkut.com won't let me sign up : ( I dont know anyone on their network. Myspace is full of errors.

 

I'm on orkut, if you need access let me know. But from my simple interactions with both sites, I don't think orkut is going to get big outside of brazil.

 

fsmedia and others, how do you advertise? do you focus on getting friends?
