Seems like fox are sending out C&D's to all of the sites with 'myspace' in the domain name.

What are your views on this?

It's their right to do so since they own the trademark.

About time they did that, anyone dumb enough to have myspace in their domain deserves to loose it, there were many warnings about it posted all over the place.

All of them will be getting them, I am friends with the creator of myspace, not tom but another person that programmed it, His name is Ducky.

He said that fox don't like people using their trademark to earn money so they are closing the sites down that have myspace in the domain name.

with all the myspace layout websites out there,
I was wondering if those are turnkey websites or something because they all have the same tools and look the same.

What about having a myspace keyword in a title page? Could you be sued for that?

They wont sue you straight away they will ask you to remove it, I find it stupid though, Imagine all the forums with myspace in the posts, Imagine if myspace went around saying remove the word myspace from your forum. psh.

So you can't get sued or anything for having a myspace keyword on your site?
