    I personally hate myspace from a designers point of view. I get the fact that you can meet people but that is all that it's good for.

    wow, people spending so much money on websites :)

    this proves they are making a LOT of money from their indivisual websites.

    i heard the only way websites will bear the competition of the future is to merge all small ones in to the big ones.

    Yes, every industry goes through a consolidation stage.

    But they wont be buying the small sites that only make a few bucks a day from adsense. They will be buying the medium and big sized sites that get lots of traffic and revenues. The big get bigger and the small just get squeezed out.

    Yes it will work. As the internet matures the small independent webmaster will have an increasingly difficult time competing with the big established sites.

    At some point, unless you have a monstrous budget and backing from deep pocketed investors, it will no longer be feasible to even try to launch a new website in a competitive and lucrative niche.

    There is ALOT of Ebay users using photobucket. I run an Ebay forum mostly women and they all use photobucket for their auctions, forum signatures etc
