Myspace bulletin wording?

Discussion in 'Social Networks' started by bizpro99, Aug 14, 2006.

    Hi,

I am going to buy a myspace bulletin and I will be advertising a myspace resource website.

I have never advertised via bulletins before. Do you need a title?
    How long can it be?

Also, what what suggestions do you have for wording the bulletin?

    Thanks, in advance.

I have my own myspace accounts and the best return I get is when I put a question in the title, becuase it is what the see until they open it.

    "Are you a widgeter?"
"Do you have a bad layout?"

But this is just what worked for me. Then inside the bulletin just give them info on your "completely amazing one of a kind myspace" site you got for them to check out. Put links in the bulletins using a href's....

I don't use it much so dont think my ways are the best.

Bulletins will drive traffic, but mostly Myspace is not buying or paying traffic. It takes a lot of views to get a conversion from Myspace.

It also depends upon what the audience of the account is.... Is it mostly teenagers, middle age.... or what... Then try to tailor it based on that

    I'd agree with that.

Plus shorter bulletins seem better, like a couple sentences and a link. (My reasoning is that when people send bulletins meant for their personal friends, they're usually pretty short.)

Question in title is best way you can go and try to be friendly rather then professional like using words lol, hell, rofl :D This works out great

or something like "I'll whore you if..." if you have a lot of "myspace whores" on your webpage, they'll do anything for picture comments, comments, etc!

it can be plain text, but then links won't show up as clickable unless you do <a href>

Remember the aim is to encourage visitors to click on your link.
