MYSpace Bulletin Comments - Please read before you buy any service

I am writing this to help fellow members here. I believe all MySpace marketing are ongoing Scam out here taking advantage of innocent members.

    A. Most of the profile do not allow any comments unless added as a friend.
    B. Most of the comments are posted by bots - and this profiles which allow comments are horrible with zero visitors except the owner.
    D. Many profile do not allow html posting.
    C. You will never get any proof of actual delivery of comments or actual no friends.
    D. So 5 = 5K = 50K and so on...
    E. Scratching each other is no proof of actual delivery or numbers
    F. I have booked a Bulletin to 70K friends with no proportionate results - I have strong traffic monitoring system
    G. I have a profile with a little over 300+ organic friends which give me better results.

My advice is to build your own profile - put in some hot pics in profile + add friends and then post your own comments and message.

Otherwise go for only those offers which give you proof of delivery and numbers !

    Thanks,

    JS

PS. The best option is - First ask the providers for the profile id from which the bulletins will be sent out. Then ask him to add you (your profile) to the profile which will send out bulletins - then you can both see your bulletin and know the actual numbers. Regarding comments - I have serious doubts as there is no way to tell the numbers.

    Hi JS,

Great post and is worth keeping in mind when dealing with service providers based around MySpace and advertising.

I provide services within MySpace. Rather then using my own accounts to send the bulletins I suggest to the client to take the time to build their account (with my assistance of course) and then to start advertising via the different mediums available.

It is my opinion the client is more appreciative of doing it in this manner even though the cost is more due to the time involved. But in the end the client has an account with thousands of friends and can advertise easily anytime they wish. Not to mention the return business to add more friends to the account :)

Hi, as a poster of MySpace comments, I wholly disagree with the statements made in this topic, and I posted my own version of this article in the General Chat section.

    1. Profiles don't allow comments unless they are on your friends list (This is true - However, this is a good thing, it prevents being accused of spam because friend adding is a two-way handshake, the other person must accept your request or have sent their own).

    2. This is not true at all. And even if it is, 85% of the owners will visit the posted link, and the bot I use makes sure that HTML is enabled. All of the comments I send are to HTML enabled profiles, and I get at least 850 hits for every 1000 comments I post.

    3. You skipped what would be 3, or C.

    4. This is also not true. After I gather the 1000 friends I intend to send comments to, I can export the list of friendIDs (profiles) that have been commented as a simple txt file and forward it to the person who has bought the comments from me. Upon entering, say, myspace.com/6221 (Their friendID) you can see if the comments are really there or not.

    5. Proof of delivery can be assured by having your link in the form of a referral/tracking link used specifically for the bulletins/comments. If you don't know what a tracker is, you live in the stone age.

    6. If you didn't know what I just listed above, your traffic results were probably miscalculated.

    7. You're insane if you think a 300 friend profile generates better results.

    However:

    8. Posting a single bulletin to one grouped account (i.e. all of your eggs in one basket) is less effective than finding someone who has multiple accounts and is willing to crosspost.

The majority of my sends are cross-posts. Using a referral/tracking link, you can easily track the hits that I've sent to you.

I agree with some of the stuff you've said, but the reality is that most of it can be counteracted through client/seller discourse. You can get proof, and you can get proof of hits. However, some of these users are simply being lazy and not doing basic stuff like creating tracking links.

I used comments once, and it worked great for me.
It got my site it's first few visitors, and they're still coming back.

Bulletins aren't as effective as they used to be, as so many of them are spam.
Comments are unmissable as long as someone goes to that persons profile, so it's the best form of advertising.

I would agree with this guy, he knows what he's talking about, albeit I'm biased because he is a customer :)
