didn't you hear, it's bad for business http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=65874 ok, waiting for a response ... I wanna add it on my myspace as well
Interesting idea. I've never heard of anyone doing it before, so your best bet is probably to e-mail Google and ask. Please post up what they respond back with if you do e-mail them.
I thought I've heard you can't because of MySpace terms.. it interferes with their advertising or something like that.
Yeah I just read that in terms and they don't allow javascript oh well for that idea back to the drawing board
Depends on what because they make all their revenue from advertising. Selling ads on your myspace account it should be no problem but when you actually try to ad adds from a site such as google it is against TOS just read.
Sorry Thanks for that link is that your page? Had to leave a green for that. And it is VERY TRUE. I think I might have to make a page to tease all visitors so I can make $xxxx from google.
It looks like advertising and affiliate links are against the MySpace TOS. http://collect.myspace.com/misc/terms.html?z
of course myspace isn't going to let you place your own ads on their site. Doesn't mean there aren't other ways to use the site and traffic to your advantage though. Have to think outside the box a bit. I've driven tons of traffic to other sites using some creative myspace marketing.
MySpace and Adsense topics abound and have rather been flogged to death. Anyone considering using "bulletins" and whoring etc via MySpace does so at their own peril. Many people are saying its OK and coming up with various arguments as to WHY they are OK but on your own head be it. Most of those claiming its "legit'" follow the argument that its OK if you are not asking for "clicks" in the bulletins but it is also against TOS to artificially inflate impressions even if they DON'T click. There are countless posts from experienced adsense users in here and the majority say the same thing - if you want to take the risk then go ahead but DON'T come back with yet another "why have I been banned" thread. If you value your adsense account why take the risk??
