If you guys haven't checked out MySpace's terms, you might want to take a look. collect.myspace.com/misc/terms.html?z=1 Read section 8.2 on advertising
Sending out messages on MySpace to random people is probably not a good idea. It's best to add them as a friend first. If they agree to become your friend then it's not really 'unsolicited' anymore, they somewhat agree to receive bulletins etc. from you.
i agree with you and i never send messages i always send one comment per profile and then i post a couple bullitens a day
I think that's just the way to keep people from doing it. How do you think they are going to get their $50? Heck there are several profiles that are not even real and most don't give their real name. The worst my space can do is boot you off, but with 75,000,000 profiles, I don' think that is very likely either.
I use it to promote my myspace site. I have a program that can add hundreds of people automatically. It works pretty good for me. ~johniman7
I used to suck $1k/day from myspace but i dont do it anymore, i used a bot to create profiles but the guy who created it is getting sued by myspace sadly. i wish him luck in his trial thing.
I know someone whos made thousands from it, if not millions from the site. The person is the owner of the site. lol Other than that, yes there are people that have made a good few thousand from it by the sounds of things from reading various threads of the last year or 2. But just because they made money doesn't mean you will and the way they had done it was by spamming myspace which is not the way to go.
Hi, I have a band on myspace and we are in need of a new singer. The problem is I don't know how to advertise it on myspace. I know that bulletins are an option but I'm sure there is a way to advertise on the "music" page on myspace. Anyone any ideas?
I created the website: MySpace Marketing It is a way for people to get paid by advertisers for posting content on their MySpace, facebook, YouTube, and other social network profiles. Let me know what you think about the site. I am also selling the site if the offer is good enough.
I'm pretty positive your service is against the TOS of Myspace. Starting a business that could get you into legal trouble from the start generally isn't a smart idea.
