Most seem stuck on posting bulletins and miss the true gem of marketing on MySpace.

Create some "Bling" and serve it to MySpace users for their pages. Make sure the code for your 'Bling" links back to your site.

Keep in mind this is not for the timid as you can experience extreme bandwidth whic could get costly(we use over 3000 gigs/month)

If you're looking for a great MySpace domain, PM me about MySpaceBling.com. It's for sale.

question is, how do you "serve it to myspace users", via bulletins?

by the way, can someone tell me how a bulletin works, can i make a bulletin with a myspace account? do my friends receive my bulletin?

maybe i should have started a new thread with my question

From looking at your 'bling', I don't see how you make a profit from that?

This was just a hype thread to sell his domain...

Reality: The bandwidth bills are KILLING him and he's not making enough money to cover it so he needs to sell this site.

    The end.

Check out Alexa though, a site ranked in the 30k's. With better content layouts than flash, which probally kills bandwith on it's own, optimize and streamline things better I think this could be a good site.

Other than getting nailed for trademark infringement.

Just to clarify. I'm selling a domain name that we no longer need because we decided to develop the brand name "BlingJam" rather than rely on a domain with 'MySpace" in it.(to avoid any future problems of trademark infringment)

Flash is not the cause of our bandwidth as the average Flash file we serve is 12k in size. Smaller than most jpegs imilar sites serve. Why Flash? Maybe some of you can figure it out and let the rest in on it.

We receive 80,000-100,000 visitors daily with 300,000+ page views, putting site revenues in the $xx,xxx/month range.

The advantage to serving files as opposed to merely posting bulletins is longevity. A bulletin post has an effect that is limited to the first time it's read. A file served to a page is the gift that keeps on giving.

But how do people end up at your site? For example, the Simon game provides code to embed the flash but no link to your site as far as I can tell...

I added LED scrollers for myspace profiles to a website of mine not so long ago, the user can take the backlink out of the code, but the swf still links to my website and alot of people click them. Same with giving people image codes, still just add a link tag to it...

Are you selling the content or just the domain?

he isnt selling anything (apart from that myspacebling.com domain) he is just saying to not focus on posting buletins for marketing a site, but to offer something useful to the myspace users which will give you more marketing than a bulletin could ever give
