    Hello,

I would like to track on which links people click the most on my site but I am wondering if that could create negative result on my SERP and my PR.

Right now, all my links to a given page are like: /mypage.html
so I am thinking to use a parameter to differentiate each link like: /mypage.html?ref=1 , etc.

If I understood correctly, the Search Engines will see mypage.html / mypage.html?ref=1 / mypage.html?rel=2 as 3 different pages, right?
If so, will mypage.html / mypage.html?ref=1 / mypage.html?rel=2 have the same PR because Google realize it is the same page or will they all have a different one?

It is likely to be an easy question for all the SEO gurus, but I am puzzled about this one!

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Ludo

No they wont have same pr, as they are calculated as different pages.

Even site.com/a.html is different than www.site.com/a.html
