    Greetings,

Is there any indirect way of converting MyBB to vBulletin so that users won't have to reset their passwords?

Ya I guess I need to have a license to post there, moreover I asked for an indirect method. As I've read directly converting through IMPEX wont convert passwords.

As far as I'm aware there is no way of easily doing this, aside from re-writing part of the database and I have no idea how you would do that. It's quite easy for everyone to reset their passwords though?

Resetting passwords would have been easier if there were a few members. I have 6900+ thats why I'm afraid of converting.

You could alter the mybb login form and capture the passwords in clear text as people login. Then after converting, set the passwords as appropriate. You won't get everyone like that though. Seems like a lot of unnecessary effort. What's the reason for not resetting passwords?

Ahhh comeon Kev who said I am running vbulletin? Don't just jump on conclusions. I am still on MyBB and planning to buy a vBulletin.

But before buying I decided to get some advice on here, as I've read many people complaining about password conversion.

    Sorry, my bad.

You can create an account on vbulletin and post questions without having to be a vbulletin owner. I signed up there and posted several questions before I bought my first license.
