mybb question..

ok so i was told to go do this, but i have NO IDEA how..can someone tell me exactly what to do on my mac? im completely lost:

On your Mac? I am a MyBB expert but I have no idea what you're asking. Do you have MyBB installed and running? Are you just trying to install that plugin onto your local computer or the website? Please explain because installing plugins into the MyBB software is very straight forward and that plugin does have simple instructions.

well i installed the plugin or whatever, but im not very good with computers, so i have no idea what to do with it..

 

So you host that site on a Mac? Well the instructions should be the same still. You have to install the plugin file per instructions and activate it in the admincp under plugins.

Which part of those instructions are you stuck at?

 

yea i dont know how to activate it..haha

 

the file wasnt zipped..soooo i guess im stuck there

 

The download file is a zip. You open it up and FTP the inc/plugins/social.php file to your /inc/plugins/ folder.

Then proceed with the rest of the install instructions.

 

i downloaded the file..and its not zipped

 

What can I say? It is.
