My Yahoo mail HACKED.

Someone has used my yahoo mail sent message to my another email address.

How can they do this? Is yahoo email safe, and and what should I do? I use it for more than 10 years now.

If u can still access your account then first change ur pass and ur secret question and if u are not able to login then just do a forgot pass and login and then change it

Yahoo is indeed secure, You sure had some virus in your computer or a key logger.

Your account can't be hacked if you can still get in, they've probably used a script which means you can send email address's from anyones account.

 

It is possible to hack yahoo account

 

I think yahoo is safe i'm using it for my email and if you have doubt you can change your security password.

We can send Email from others Email address ( even Gmail,Hotmail or your Own Hosting email )
by using some scripts.

I don't think your Yahoo mail is compromised or hacked. I think as others mention above they are using Server Side scripts to look as though they are sending emails from your email to others. Example

I think yahoo is safe depending how good your password and hidden questions are. If you haven't already change your password into something much harder and run a virus scan on your computer.

 

I face some problem in Yahoo sometime. Like even when I use correct password it doesn't opens for sometime like 1 hour or 2 and then it works fine.
And at the same time, I use it from my mobile with another connection and it works.

Probably you might have told your pass to your friend and they are trying to play a prank !!
The only solution to this is that change your password, as soon as possible and scan your computer with a good anti virus

 

It happens to me a lot, in this go to IE and clear your history and flush Temporary Internet Files after that it works fine.

 

if you can enter your email then change the password and the security question! even i faced same problem like this but when i changed my password it never happened!!!

first thing you should do is log in to your account and change your pass word. After you do that then contact yahoo and report the issue at hand

 

To hack yahoo mail hacker must be genious. I doubt he would waste time to hack your e-mail. It is quite easy to forge anyone email address. It is more likely that you infected with spam and spam found addresses on computer and used them.
