My Yahoo answer was reported by my competitor.....

Well I have been having quite a luck ride in yahoo! Most of the questions I have answered have turned out to be best answers. I have a rate of 38% right now. And I have only answered like 30-40 questions on Yahoo.

I think my yahoo answers are working fine.

 

I got my yahoo answers account banned after 5 questions and I hadn't even linked to any of my sites. I only linked to Yahoo finance and Wikipedia. I answered genuinely and appealed and they wouldn't re-activate my account.

 

Simply open a new account when a new one gets banned. I have done it several times, without any problems.

This is the same problem that ebay had with their digital delivery items. Everyone was reporting everyone for copyright infringement when in fact there was no copyright issues. All the competitor was doing was trying to get more sales by having less competitors for the niche. So what ebay did was shut down Digital delivery items all together. If this keeps happening with yahoo answers they will eventually shut it down then every one losses out. So if i was you i would take the advice of the people above me and make new accounts after 50 answers.

 

My a/c has gotten banned and I just opened a new one, has been fine after that.

 

In their email to me it said I can just create a new account.

 

the reason why they do that banning you guys in yahoo answer is they are Tightening there securities against those marketers that post sources urls for their site.

 

Not banned after recieve tons of report. Just wasting my time to appeal one by one. And they accept the appeal normally

Wow, I never thought that my competitors would do that, I was just about to go on Yahoo answers. My old website, the url got banned and I couldn't post, unless I used an alternative url. That stopped after a week though and I could answer fine. I'll have to keep checking, thanks for the heads up, I'll have to be more careful .

Nothing much can do other than appeal. Just wish yahoo answer can improve the system

Well, three of my answers were deleted today (again!)

When I visited those pages, I saw my competitor links. They did the same answers with the same link for 3 questions. Can you guess what happened next? I reported their answers and they got deleted too. Happy ending for both of us.

Don't do thing that invite criminals to target you <-- That's right

 

That's always happen. You shall appeal, your answer will be put back once yahoo answer team review it if it is nothing wrong

 

that sucks, there are some yahoo answer nazi's on there, like for example I got the idea to ask a question about Acai Berry then I was going to answer it myself from another account and choose it as best answer but someone figured out what i was doing it sucked...and before I could even answer my own question there were marketers answering it with their affiliate links, so I just deleted my question. FAIL.

 

My account was suspended too. The solution is create new account
