my wordpress site takes foreever to load

    i just got a article wordpress installed, and the main pages take over 20 secs to load.. what could be wrong? my other sites on the same server are fine

    You can do 3 things to speed up wordpress;
    ~ Install WP-Cache Plugin
    ~ REmove unwanted plugins, disable them all and enable one by one to see which one's causing the lag
    ~ Try a new theme that is less heavy on load time ;)

    First thing I would do is try another WordPress theme and see if that improves it. You can also install the WP Cache plugin which might speed things up also.
