I have 2 blogs, both with WordPress 2.6.1 - the latest version of WordPress when I write this post. Blog 1 has content, Blog 2 is empty. I want to import the RSS feed generated from blog 1 into blog 2. I use the Manage -> Import -> Import RSS, from the WordPress menu, but my categories are not imported. I look at the code and I found a reason why. More exactly, I found the reason why the RSS import script, from the /wp-admin/import/ folder of a brand new distribution CAN't import categories. Has anyone here managed to import the categories by using the standard import RSS script, which comes with WordPress?
