    I receive email ur wordpress version is out just upgrade fantastico wordpress version, after upgrading via fantastico deluxe my blog goes disappear :confused: my blog is thebeautyonline(dot)com

    There seems to be something wrong with the UPGRADE. You may still upgrade it manually thru FTP. Just replace all the files except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php.

    manually upgrading was not working giving error in wp-admin area. my 3 days work go in trash in just one sec. lol my bad luck

    I will never use fantastico deluxe, it was my first and last try.

    Do not upgrade via fantastico i did it first time, i always did manually but my bad luck i try fantastico :confused: and now building again :mad:

    if the database is still ok than you haven't lost anything. You'll just have to find a way to manually upgrade the blog, but not from the wp-admin area... You'll need to replace all files with the new ones with a FTP software, then you write the database name in wp-config and you're almost done. don't replace the wp-content folder.

    What version did you upgrade from?

    I upgraded a few of my ancient WP sites a while ago, and they were all killed. I had to do it in stages, with a lot of exporting and importing of databases.

    Is there a wp-config.php file? Are you using the correct database info in the wp-config file? if so then it sounds as if Fantastico corrupted the DB. Do you have a backup file to replace the DB?

    Always, always, always backup the database and at least the wp-config.php file and wp-content folder before an upgrade.

    I said i never try fantastico so every thing goes wrong within few second but thanks to tulip4heaven who help me in getting blog back

    2.7 to 2.7.1

    That was static site which u see. but now my blog is live again :D check in my signature.
