My WLan: too secure for me!

    So, due to some new suspicious people moving in my neighbourhood, my neighbour suggested we should secure our WLans.

    He did, and gave me his password, just in case I needed it, then I did, giving him mine.

    Unfortunately, I don't know whether he tried yet or not, but he's fairly busy with all this snow.

    What I know is that there is no way I can get in with my laptop. I thought it was some setting in the router, but TiVo can get in.

    I thought it was a setting in the laptop, but I can get in my neighbour's WEP.

    Any ideas of what it could be?
