My weight seems low...

I just installed the network on to my site today. My site is comprised of about 130 pages. Homepage is a PR4. Almost all the other pages are a PR3.

I just clicked on "Validate/Calculate Weight Now" and it gave me a 3,484. I've been reading around the forums and seeing some of your weight numbers and mine seems low to me. Based on my site, does my number seem right?

Also, since one of the things that weight is based on is PR, does that mean when the PR updates in January we'll all get a weight boost?

 

your weight seems about right... sites with really high weight are usually "super sites" with thousands and thousands of pages (and likely with decent PR on all/most of them..)

yes, when PR is updated your weight should change.

 

Or a decrease. Best thing you can do is add more pages if you want a higher weight.

 

Will the weight increase or decreaee by itself or only when you click "Calculate Weight"?

 

I just read that your adds won't appear on other sites until your pages with the add network get into google's cache. How long does this usually take?

 

I think something had changed as my site has 6k pages indexed and PR5 & PR6 thoughout and my weight is flux's between 40k and 20k!

..it was 65k three days ago and the site hasn't changed and google hasn't indexed fewer pages? weird.
