My weight just dropped to zero

    My weight for one of my sites just dropped to zero - is that even possible?

    My home page is PR5 and there are plenty of pages with a google cache date of 5th March.

    I've entered my api and manually revaidated back to 22500.

    To make sure this doesn't happen again can anyone confirm that the only reason to validate at zero weight is zero pages in G's index when viewed through the api.

    If there are any other reasons a site could go to zero I would like to know so that I can make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Another question entirely would then be how can G change its mind so quickly about how many pages are indexed (0 to at least 4500 in 5 minutes)

    My weight drops to 0 randomly, at least in the past couple of weeks every couple of days, yet it says I'm still validating... I just revalidate, and it's back.
