    Hello friends,

15 days before I posted one thread that Google is decreasing my back links day by day...And many of them gave their views. Thanks a lot for helping me. Now I am facing one more problem. My back links are fixed to certain number neither they increasing nor are they decreasing. And I am continuing doing the link building process. And Google is not counting the links which I have been making now...As it is updating in Google webmaster tools ... no link is added by the Google...
    Please suggest me...
    Thanks for the advice...

I have the same problem, I once got a pretty good link with a lot of trust that removed the blocking. Then Google counted ~200 new Links within Days and blocked me again

Unfortunately there is not a set method to fix this problem. Google is always changing and they pretty much do what they want.

I'd suggest you stop focusing so much on how many links you think Google is counting. Just keep making more links, increase your rankings, get more traffic and increase your conversion.

If your links are fixed, your rankings are fixed too. It's like you don't get backlinks anymore.

It naturally takes time to update in Google Webmaster tools. For faster counting of those back-links you can verify them on Yahoo's site explorer!

    PATIENCE!!!!!!!!

Some of the links that I post aren't even picked up by Google after a year has gone by. Some of the other links are picked up within 7 days..

It all depends on what Google feels like doing basically.

Just don't get discouraged and keep building backlinks.

This is a common. Most of Google update whether minor or major will caused a change to each website link popularity. Google does look overall linking pattern and quality, not individual links. That's why you may not see some link you acquired being shown via link: search operator, but can be seen via Google Webmaster Tools.

I am looking at Google Webmaster Tools. It says 240 Links to my root page, for almost 6 Months. This is not correct and Google has indexed more links but does not accept them. There are lots of high-value backlinks from regular blogs with pagerank higher than 5 that created a posting to recommend my site but Google does not accept these links. The site itself has ~10.000 Unique visitors per Day, a lot of my users recommend my service in forums or blog comments which could look pretty spammy for google, but what should I do? Tell them to stop recommending my site?! It sucks if the "keyword" I gain the most traffic through google is my url

Don't worry to much about the stats but worry about doing little things every day and you'll eventually see results.

Google doesn't display all your links but you can see all your links on Google Webmaster tools.

if you are checking back links through link command then it will show less number of back links. In Google webmaster tools, you can see the all links or you can also check the all back links in yahoo site explorer.
