My website got Rank down recently from top 5 to 13 for the keyword: mac keylogger. it used to be top 5 in the last 3 years. i don't know the reason. Google just don't use my meta description. After some effort, the description comes back but the rank is not back, Any one know why Google doesn't use my description anymore? It works OK in the last 3 years. my website is keylogger-mac.com
Google panda has updated and it is good marking in quality fresh content apart from create quality good pr back links.
Just checked your website and I don't think it would get affected by panda. I am sure it will return to a better position if you can build 4-5 quality backlinks. Well, there's no harm in trying to get those backlinks.
have u update yr stuff? Cz google changes their algorithm from time to time. another factor would be the keyword competition.
I also think that Google Panda is to blame..............you are not the only one who is saying that the PR has dropped.
The reason can be increase of competitors in your niche who are doing better optimization and promotion of their site.You can do competitor analysis using webmaster tools.
something weird happened to 2 of my sites on Friday - they lost most of their SERPs - not all of them - but some. Different domains, hosts, link building strategies, ages, everything. Very odd. It seems like 1 or 2 bad links can tear a site apart!
Google panda could be a reason for SERP down. But you need to be updated with your site. It’s really good that you are ranking well with your keywords but don’t forget about competitor.
thanks all you guys. i updated my website and removed some links to external sites. i hope this helps. It could not be the competitors because i check their website, they are not updating or even promoting their sites. Maybe it is because of the Google Panda. anyone has software, mac, apple, iphone related websites with PR>3 please let me know, i would love to buy some high quality links from you.
