Y'all are missing one very important factor... the phrase "national xbox" has now been plastered all over this page, in a very strong forum. He might very well get knocked out of the number one spot... by this thread. Luckily, Jabowen, you didn't put the phrase in the thread title, so you still have a chance of keeping that spot. -Michael
put quotes around multiple word terms to see a better view of the number of results http://www.google.com/search?q="nat...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official "national xbox" yeilds 271
Narrow it down even further... type [allinanchor:"national xbox"] (no space after the colon) to see how many sites are linked to using that phrase as the anchor text. http://www.google.com/search?num=10...:en-US:official&q=allinanchor:"national+xbox" Still about 240... but every one of em after the 3rd result is supplemental and probably wouldn't show in a search anyways. -Michael
I think the lowest I have had is 60 unique, the second day of opening I had 100+... Is this good/bad for no PR or what. JB
I assume the 100 isn't from search engines but websites, in which case there is no good/bad for no PR, if you know how to market a site you will get traffic. PR isn't an indication of traffic. But keep going at it and good luck.
I got first for the keywords Entrepreneur Forum for about 1 month, i didn't do much SEO and it dropped to page two, so you must do SEO to maintain that spot, i didn't and look what happend, now i have to do it.
How do you know that? I put my site on #4 position on G --after 2 weeks --for a keyword competition of 6.5 million. I posted it on DP --and got lots of negative reviews like you doing here. What is wrong with this? I was told that it was nothing --anybody could do--and it would drop after few days. My site is not good and I am flattered it is there--embarrased a little bit. So I stopped any kind of SEOI work after that --and it is still there --what more --it improved one place and moved to #3 now. @Jabowen --Congrats mate --its a good job --well done. Just don't get bad with those negative views who are just jealous of your success. Thanks.

That's nothing special, it'll happen if you do the right things because most people don't do them. And besides, it's your domain name!
If your site becomes popular, more people will search for that term as well. Doesn't mean it's more valuable, but at least you started with #1 for that term.
Its ok for a new site. Don't forget though, since you asked people to google 'national xbox' there going to click through to your site, so alot of them google referals are likely DP members.
