My Website Isn't #1 When I Type In My Own Domain Name

For some reason one of my websites is on the third page when I type in my own website domain. Does this mean that Google doesn't like my website?

I have the same issue with my site. There are several sites ahead of me for my own domain name, including a digg article I posted which links to my site! I should mention my site is less than two months old, but I still feel like Google ain't feelin it.

it's same with one of my sites. It's probably due to soon Google's PR update

They usually mess up everything, when update is close

It happened most of the times if you have keyword base domain then your competitors are already done so many work on that keyword that's why there sites showing up and if you are think that only keywords base domain is can give you ranking on that keyword then you are wrong,
if you choose keyword base domain then it's help you to get ranking on that keyword but it's not mean that you will get ranking early without doing anything. do proper seo work on that keyword and see your site will come up on SERPS

My free dating directory is the one that's showing up on the third page. You can see the link in my signature.

    This is normal...
Your site is not stable enough that's why some other sites ranks better than you even if its your own domain...
Your domain name is pretty competitive where sites competing for the same keywords as yours outranks you...

As said before, it takes a while, if ever, for competitive terms like dating, directory and free. If you are searching for the url, it shows up fine. Why do you want your site to show up for its name? It makes better sense for your site to show up for keywords like - free dating sites or dating sites Asian. Optimize each of those pages for the best performing keywords (using Analytics). Otherwise put the name of your site in your title tag twice and that should do the job- with a few backlinks.

It has nothing to do with SEO of other sites or how competitive your niche is.

If Digg article about his page is on first page, how many in-links does that Digg articles have?? Probably none! It has no SE optimization and it's on first page. How competitive can that niche be huh? :D

This shows that authority of Digg for your sites url is higher that authority of your own site for your own url. Which means your site authority is pretty crappy. This can be because your site is new or Google is suspicious about your site. If you wait for a while and maybe build a few links things should return to normal.

Probably because your website isn't aged enough and you don't have enough anchored links for your keywords.

    I totally consent with u.;)

you have to check your web page content. Dose it match with your targeted keywords? First check it. As, the targeted keyword should be embbed in your content.

My dating directory is fairly new. For some reason my wholesale directory never really had that problem. Also, what do you mean by anchored links?

    I didn't notice such a behavior...
It's probably some penalty or lack of trust by Google.

Well, I just checked my website and it moved up to #1 when I type in my address. I guess Google is done fully indexing my site.
