My Website is not Published yet

My registrant is Namecheap.com and my hosting company is hostgator. I am using Kompozer as my web editor. As I try to publish my site, it Kompozer mentioned that the site was published. But it has been 24 hours but my website can't be seen yet.

    My domain name is philippinesescapades.com

I just got this message "Welcome! This domain was recently registered at namecheap.com. The domain owner may currently be creating a great site for this domain. Please check back later!"

Did I do something wrong? What could be wrong? I desperately need your answer.

Have you set the DNS nameservers of your domain to Hostgator?

Sorry , but it's my first time. How do I set DNS nameservers of my domain to Hostgator?

What I did is just input the hostgator nameservers to my registrar (namecheap.com)

thats what you need to do. Now you need to wait for some time until the correct dns propagates. It may take upto 48 hours to resolve correctly.

You got that message because of DNS propagation delay. In such cases, surf your web page using a web proxy. It always worked for me.
