My website is loading very slow

    I am running a porn tube script on a VPS from vpslatch.com
    But the site is loading extremely slow

    Try to take a look at my ping results:

    http://tools.pingdom.com/?url=http://www.i-wank.com/&treeview=0&column=objectID&order=1&type=0&save=true

    the first item that is being loaded which apears to be my domain takes about 16 seconds to load.

    all the other items on my site load in an acceptable manner. My domain is registered at goDaddy.com i have been talking to the support at vpslatch.com but they dont seem to be able to fix the problem

    If anyone have any idea what can be causing this i would be very grateful

    What is the load on the server when the page is loading slowly?

    most free tube scripts cant handle traffic and are also poorly created database wise.. They simply implode on traffic, I can take a look, but these things generally are problematic you don't want to spend money on. Some can be fixed, some can be fixed for a price, others need to be castrated and sent to the moon and never to be seen again :D

    You are also on a VPS which has very little ram im sure... Media = large. Media and Database = very large.. media, database, BAD database code/script = self destruct

    I was just going to mention that porn tube style sites do require a decent amount of server resources to run properly. Also a poorly configured script more than likely affect how well the mySQL database runs. Was this a site you setup or had someone else do? What resources has your provider guaranteed you for your VPS? Are you exceeding those limits by any chance and they are no limiting you? Feel free to PM me or let me know if I can further help.
